I’ve been a longtime customer of Jewel Box. As a small jewelry business owner, I’ve searched far and wide to find a company who doesn’t try to sell me low end products at high end prices. Jewel box has everything I need and more. I always think the amount I ordered is enough, but they sell so well at my store I find myself ordering more often than I first thought. Their customer service is great. I always feel like I’m talking to an actual person as opposed to someone hired from a foreign country whom I need to repeat my sentences to constantly. I also don’t feel like they’re trying to get me to buy more things or are too busy to ever speak to me, no matter how many questions I have.I’ve recommended this site to my friends and family, and even to some competitors to be honest. I’m glad that there is an honest company out there who sells great products at low prices.
RUN…do not walk…away from these people. I ordered a $50.00 item from them via their http://www.watchboxco.com web site…supposedly they had the item “in stock” it was noted as such on their web site. FOUR days later and I still had not heard a word from them. I sent four emails and left two voice mail messages imploring them to return my emails/calls. I finally called the ” The Jewel Box” when I found out they were affiliated ( same address) hoping someone could help me. I spoke with a very nice lady named “Elmon” who promised me that someone would call me back within the hour.Sure enough…about an hour later I received a call from a “Steve” who first said the item was NOT in stock….then he said it WAS in stock but they couldn’t ship it until Friday! No mention of my unanswered emails or phone messages….no explanation…no apology….he acted like he could care less.So I cancelled the order.This was the single most horrible example of “customer service” I have ever experienced in 16 years of doing business on the internet.If anyone gives a nickel of their hard-earned money to these idiots they’re crazy.You’ve been warned…BEWARE.
This company and their owner deserve 0 stars. I ordered a few items and wanted to have them shipped. First their website does not give you the price to order before it completes, it just charges your card and I had to call to ask how much for shipping. When I called a guy answered the phone, he didn’t give his name but told me that since I lived 15 minutes from their store that I could pick up my order. I ordered on a Tuesday and agreed to pick it up on Saturday. The guy said they would be open until 1:30 or 2pm. He asked that I called by on friday to confirm I was picking up the order. I did and again he said they would be open until 1:30 or 2. Then saturday morning I got a call at 10am by a women saying that they would be closing at 11:30 or 12 and I had to come get my order then, oh and I can’t call because no one answers the phone on saturdays. I couldn’t make it so I left a message and today, monday I called back and spoke to the guy again. Ends up he’s the owner and was the rudest man I have ever dealt with. I asked if he would send the order for free since it wasn’t my fault they closed early and I couldn’t come again until the next saturday. He said if I wanted my stuff I would make the effort to pick it up or pay for shipping. ?He said, ” go sleep or go to school what ever you do but I’m not shipping for free Pearl jewelry, obviously you don’t want your stuff”. Then when I asked him to refund he said they hadn’t charged it yet. I was trying to tell him they had because it had already posted to my account when he hung up on me cz jewelry!!!!!!!!!!!!!This man should be shut down if that is how he is going to treat his costumers. It’s about him and not the costumer.
